Project #1: Up My Tolerance
So far, I'm taking the "slow and steady" route, having a beer with dinner the past two nights. This evening, the trend will continue when I eat at my parents' house - I'd guess a couple glasses of wine. Monday, projected drinks with former singing colleagues.
Project #2: exam prep
As I've started rereading works I'm more familiar with, I'm reminded that even though someone like Eliot, say, was kind of an ass, he still wrote good poetry.

This is true of everyone, I think, except Samuel Johnson and Boswell, who were both asses, and yet, produced no good poetry (and, discounting the dictionary, little else of worth, either). Yes, I'm being mean. But I'm just saying.
Funny--that's exactly what I say whenever I have a reason to talk about Eliot.
And good luck with upping the tolerance--I'm always available for virtual live-drunk-blogging.
JD - can't speak to SJ and B (fortunately)?
lb - live drunk blogging, you say? sounds brilliant! I'm still workin' my way up there, but hopefully by the end of the week...
I'm really loving the idea of upping one's tolerance as a "project." Awesome. :)
