Just got a recall notice for two library books. They're due by Nov.2; I wasn't planning on going back to campus til Nov. 5. That comes to a $6 fine. It would probably cost at least $6 to mail them. It would cost me nothing (except some friend favor points) to hand off the books to my friend and get him to deliver them for me, if he happens to be going to campus before then. Let's keep our fingers crossed for that last option, yes?
In the meantime, you still have a chance for a free present. Get 'em while they're hot.
