large geekiness

I keep writing "D&G" as an abbreviation for Deleuze and Guattari in my notes for this exam. That's not the geeky part--it's that every single time I do it I chuckle in my mind because that's, like, the abbreviation for the fancy design house. Ha ha, still funny.

What does it stand for in house terms? (Inquiring minds want to know! And I obviously don't hang out in the right housing circles...)

By "design house" I am using the fancy word for "fashion designer," which I didn't use because I think (though I could be wrong) that refers to a person rather than an organization. The proper names are Dolce & Gabbana. How do I know this? Dunno, maybe too many Entertainment Weekly fashion spreads?

Hmmm. I think I use it interchangeably for both without even thinking about it.

I wonder what Derrida would say...
