beginning over

I have a stack of a dozen library books acquired in the past two weeks. Another stack of books I own, mostly ordered from online used booksellers in the past two weeks. A folder of PDF's on my computer, downloaded over the past two weeks. At home, I face computer paralysis: I could start working at any moment, so I don't ever actually start. I stare at the computer screen, surf, occasionally reread a fantasy novel, wait until it's time to start cooking dinner (soon!). I need some good cathartic days at the library.

Is this new chapter stuff? I always find that a kinda ritualistic cleaning up of the old chapter mess and putting everything away makes me all happy and excited to start a new project.

I _also_ always like taking a couple days off to do something outside and completely unrelated to reading or writing or sitting and thinking. Go reward yourself for finishing a thing!

Yes, there was much rejoicing when the chapter was finished, but now the time for rejoicing is past.

Although the cleaning up the mess is a good idea. And I do need room on my bookshelf for all these new library books.

Cleaning up the PDF, library stack... oh yeah, that's where I need to be. Not there, of course, but there.

If you break the log-jam, let me know how!

Ugh. Yesterday at the library was good. Today post-night of socializing, bad. To be expected. :)
